My moment(s) of fame!

Seeing only one post on the blog was a little sad, so I thought I will share a few more things about myself and then sign off for the night.

The past year whilst still studying at the University of St Andrews I was lucky to be a part of Design Team as their special projects coordinator. I tought students about character design, typography, illustration and book binding. It was a lot of fun, but I think the moment when I felt truly rewarded for all my effort was this little article at The Saint. It was an interview with Nathalie Mitchel, our Design Team convenor and the most awesome person ever! I was of course mentioned briefly but I could not be more proud. Small things in life matters I think. I joined Design Team because I could not live without art and design and this was just a very nice reminder that one day all of our hard work is appreciated and rewarded.

So while I was on The Saint's website I thought I will browse a little more and I stumbled upon this little piece. The article has nothing to do with me, but the poster design is all mine :)

Finally, I should mention that as exhibitions officer for Art Soc at St Andrews I organized the end of year exhibition which was part of On The Rocks arts festival (my involvement with the festival will have to be documented some other time). So here is my other 15 minutes of fame when the exhibition was reviewed by The Saint. My name unfortunately is not mentioned, but I am sure my ego will survive ;)
